On March 12th, The 27th Korea PD Awards was held at SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Sangam-dong, Seoul.
The Korea PD Awards is a collection of awards given to PDs and broadcast entertainers, who have contributed to the development of social culture and free press through broadcast media. In order to award their creativity and sense of duty, the awards ceremony was created to shine a light on the broadcast programs and broadcast culture in 2014 while contributing to social development.
For today's awards ceremony, SECRET's Hyosung served as the MC of The 27th Korea PD Awards and rookie girlgroup GFRIEND performing at the event with their debut song 'Glass Bead'. Girl's Day also received the 'Performer Award' from singer section alongside with Kim Young Hee from comedian section and Shin Dong Yup from TV presenter section.
