Girl's Day Yura's popularity rising in China through 'Super Idol'

'Super Idol' MC Girl's Day Yura is expected to emerge as the goddess of the continent.

Cable channel MBC Music and China's Anhui Satellite TV joint global audition program 'Super Idol' has recorded as the second largest broadcast audience on its first episode. On July 14th, MBC Music's 'Super Idol' gathered a big topic in the country.

In the broadcast day, the appreance of Super Idol's 30 trainees was unveiled.

Super Idol is a global audition Korea-China joint program to selected the member of idol group through an audition to develop debut in China. In addition, after its first broadcast, Super Idol immediately became the 3rd place on Weibo real-time search, also recorded on Yahoo! as 5th place with 140 million clicks as well as in China's portal news Baidu.

DreamT Entertainment said, "Because of Yura's appearance as the MC of 'Super Idol', the number of fanclub have been formed in China. Yura is familiar to Chinese's audiences through her appearance on the program 'We Got Married' with actor Hong Jong Hyun, it seems the big issue of 'Super Idol' will have a big impact to Yura's popularity in China.

Meanwhile, 'Super Idol' will air every Tuesday at 7PM KST on MBC Music.
