On May 11th, IU attended the press conference of KBS new drama 'Producer' at The Raum Art Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Producer is a drama series with set an entertainment division of a broadcasting company. Recently, Producers got so much attention even before the first broadcast, because of the cast Cha Tae Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Soo Hyun and IU play in this drama.
Not only the cast but also the cameos who appear on this drama got attention such as Park Jin Young, TaeTiSeo, 2PM's Nickhun and 2AM's Jokwon.
At the press conference IU talked about her role as a top singer Cindy. She studied and received inspiration for her character from f(x)'s Krystal, 4Minute's HyunA and SNSD's members.
She said, "They're not my friends, but I've been trying to study the charisma, hand gestures, and expressions." Then she added, "It's so awkward when I wear kill-heels try to dance with charismatic expression on my face. The things that HyunA and I were born with are so different, but I'm working really hard."
The first episode of Producer will begin to air on May 15th with 12 episodes.
