On May 12th, YG Entertainment representative revealed their new girlgroup is to debut before September, and they're aiming for this summer. This girlgroup is made up of skilled members who have been training for at least 3 years.
The representative also added, Yang Hyun Suk is still checking on their music skills and their debut date can change but the chance of group debut in summer is high. Also Yang Hyun Suk having a goal for iKon and new girlgroup to receive Rookie of the Year award at the end of this year.
Confirmed member that we already knew are Kim Jisoo and Jennie Kim. The team will have a completely different feel, like something you couldn't see much more before in the industry. As we know back then YG also stated that their new girlgroup will have a beautiful members like SNSD and this is the first girlgroup that YG created with great visual and skilled members.
YG has big plans before September such as Lee Hi, Epik High, AKMU comeback as well iKon's debut and WINNER's comeback at the end of August of early September.
