Starship Entertainment with Chinese company Yuehua Entertainment to debut new girl group 'Cosmic Girls' next year.
On November 4th Starship Entertainment and Yuehue Entertainment said, "We are currently preparing for new girl group 'Cosmic Girls(우주소녀)' with target to debut in the beginning of next year." and, "There will be 12 members including Korean and Chinese members. This will going to be the largest K-Pop girl group in the meantime."
'Cosmic Girls' is the first joint project of Starship Entertainment and Yuehue Entertainment through mutual management contract in April. The members is expected to show each specialized skills such as vocal, dance, acting, etc.
On the same day, Starship also confirmed the first member who will be joining the group, "EXY has been confirmed as the new member of girl group 'Cosmic Girls'."

Following the next day, finally the first 3 members Cheng Xiao, Bona and Dayoung has been revealed. They also released the profile of each members.
