HyunA have returned after a year as a solo artist. Last time after the released of 'Red' she's became the 'Summer Icon'. This time with the 4th mini album 'A+' and title track 'Roll Deep', HyunA calling all the woman who want to find her self-confident and self-esteem through the song. Check out HyunA's interview about their latest album now!

We are curious about the concept of the title song.

HyunA, "'Roll Deep', 'Red' and 4Minute's 'Crazy' are songs that I created together with all the composers. The composers know me well and all the story that came out for title song. On behalf of all the woman I want to show the confidence appearance through the song." 

The pool party on trailer for your album was impressive. It shows a quite strong feeling.

HyunA, "'When you can play along like this' with that thought I started to filmed the trailer and I was also surprised. But 'Roll Deep' was directed by me and I should play properly to express the song well. So that why I departing to United States, haha. But I do not even dream of such a deviant camp. I'm not a good drinker. I love watching movies while eating watermelon at home comfortably."

Anything burden on the perception that HyunA = sexy concept?

HyunA, "I have a reason to do it that's why I think exposure and sexiness it's okay. I always worried to make the story and situation fit. Because of that worries it brings out a lot of ideas. I also worry about the image. I even more careful in order not to receive such a bad feedback. I think it's a process to develop more further."

What do you think about Wonder Girls MV?

HyunA, "It's a pleasure to meet them. Wonder Girls music video has a good feeling and soon after I saw that I called Yeeun. We also give some advices and encouragement to each other. I am the one who waited for Wonder Girls comeback. I think when we stand on the same stage, many emotions will come across."

This summer there was a massive comeback of girl groups such as SNSD, Apink, AOA, SISTAR and more. What do you think of this girl group war?

HyunA, "A lot of people shows their interest in girl groups these days and it's a good thing. In addition, people may enjoy a variety of music and performances too, it's a good thing right? Of course, while adjusting the pressure, but I think when you are ready to work it's more fun to work together rather than avoiding each other."

Now you also seem to have a clear identity as 'Solo HyunA' than '4Minute's HyunA'.

HyunA, "I appreciate this opportunity that given to me. When I get the opportunity to make a solo album I think it's because the fans are always there. Because I also feel to meet the expectations of fans. A solo album it's not something that you can do every year. So I think all the good result given me more homework to do."

The Color of sexy. It's a nickname only for HYUNA. Her new trailer released on August 10 was the real color of sexiness.

HYUNA's remarkable sexiness. It is not something just done in one day. She has been working hard for no one to approach.

It is same for this album too. HYUNA participated in directing from concept to appearance.

"It was really hot this summer, right? Here LA, US was so hot too. I had to stand in intense hot for the shooting. That's why I could make it cooler." (HYUNA)

Q: The concept of the trailer video  it's just hot. You played a character of freewheeling girl who enjoys the party.

HYUNA, "Yes, yes. It's a hot girl I played. I started worrying about the teaser video as I confirmed the 'It's because I'm the best' as a title track'. Like the title itself, I thought I must be the best. I felt like then I could represent 'hot girl' on the sage as well. The starting point of it was the trailer video. I meant to play really hard."

Q: Actually you in the trailer video was sexier and hotter. You even exposed backless features in the video...OMG.

HYUNA, "It was a new endeavor for myself as well. I actually felt some pressure. But I felt relaxed because I filmed it in overseas maybe? I felt more free because it was a vacation place? I wouldn't have done it if I shoot in Korea. I probably concerned about other people's attention. There would have been many thing to concern about."

Q: Summer in Seoul was very hot. What about summer in LA, US?

HYUNA, "I heard that Korea was a heat wave too. The United States was really hot also. So it was very hard but the staff must have been harder than me. I concerned about them a lot. Oh! And my fans don't like me tanned. They don't like me looking dark. So I worried about getting tanned. I hope they like me."

Q: There are a lot of baring scenes even in the teaser video. Therefor I wonder how hard she tried to show a firm body....

HYUNA, "I did exercise twice more than I did when I prepare for 'RED' and 'Crazy'. It was really hard because I had to do intensive train often. By the way I feel so proud if I see the photos after that training. I say well, isn't it good? Haha."

Q: What the funniest thing happened while filming this trailer movie? 

HYUNA, "There was a lots of funny scene overall. Shooting site was fun always. Among them I'll choose my acting like a person who is dead drunk. In fact, I drunk water instead of alcohol. However I kept laugh while trying to act like a drunken person. Haha. I remember that I laughed out loud while do the monitoring."

Q: Which part you participated in this album?

HYUNA, "Of course I did all! From the big image overall and details, I did them all. I discussed with composer everyday. And selected all tracks carefully. I even wrote the lyrics. Like 3 songs? I tried not to feel pressure. It was fun anyway. I had to put most effort in this album."

Q: Which attractiveness does HYUNA want to appeal?

HYUNA, "I will present confident and energetic stage. I hope people watch my stage to be fun. Also receive good energy as well. I want to appeal with something different. Maybe something bubbly? More detailed explanation could be a spoiler so I'll stop here! Let's meet on the 21st!"

4Minute's Jihyun shows her new look for The Celebrity

After finishing 'Crazy' promotion with her group 4Minute, Nam Ji Hyun is back with her new look for The Celebrity magazine July issue.

Lifestyle magazine 'The Celebrity' unveiled Nam Ji Hyun's feminine and innocent side with pictorial for July issue. Nam Ji Hyun came up with unique layering look that express the sensibility of LA street girls.

In an interview Nam Ji Hyun revealed, "I usually had the desire to try various attemps and had so much fun for the first time.  I have the feeling for dressing in my age. In this photoshoot, I would like to challenge and bring my delight to discover a variety of charms."

4Minute's HyunA to make her solo comeback in August

On June 5th, 4Minute's HyunA annouced her solo comeback this August!

Cube Entertainment stated, "HyunA has been preparing for a long time for her solo comeback with goal the album will be out in August, but the exact date and schedule comeback is undecided yet."

HyunA's new album is being worked in the US, but they still not revealed which American composers who worked with HyunA for her solo comeback after a year.
