DIA talks about their follow up song 'My Friend's Boyfriend' in the recent interview

DIA has started the activitie for follow up song 'My Friend's Boyfriend'.

On October 23rd, dongA met with DIA in the waiting room of KBS 'Music Bank' and they talks about recent activities and follow up song 'My Friend's Boyfriend' concept.

Seunghee, "This is our first stage of 'My Friend's Boyfriend'. First broadcast of our follow up song is so fun. We act cute and playful for this concept. We wear excessive accessories and it makes fun to watch on the stage. 'From head to toe dance' and 'Fishing dance' are our point dance. It's a bit corny but I think it would be a good scene to watch."

Despite busy schedule, DIA are often performing on music programs and catches so many people eyes.

Eunice, "We're still a rookie and we thought we still not showing more than other singer. This time, Kim Dong Wan and Tei (senior) also make a comeback. Recently we also see Taeyeon (senior) and we really think that looks great. When see her up close on the stage she looks like a doll. I thought her solo song and appearance looks incredible. We got so many inspirations after watching that."

Many groups including DIA recently make a comeback and debut. Nevertheless, DIA said it is important to better promoting their group rather than thinking this is a competition. Sometimes sincere advices from seniors are a big help to them.

"We are monitoring a lot. Also thanks for all the comments towards us. T-ARA (senior) also give us a lot of courage. Especially Eunjung (senior) she direct support us and came on the scene. Now we think we should working even harder."

T-ARA and rookie girl group DIA to attend Chinese Entertainment 'Banana Culture' opening ceremony in Shanghai, China.

This is the first time T-ARA and their sister group DIA attending an event together in China for Banana Culture's first opening ceremony and gathered so many attention.

Meanwhile, T-ARA will depart first to Shanghai, China on October 3rd at 10.50AM KST and following by DIA at 7.15PM KST on the same day through Incheon Airport.

DIA reveals costumes concept for debut showcase

Rookie girl group DIA unveiled some of the costumes for their debut showcase.

On September 13th a day before debut showcase, DIA published a picture that contains the members dressed in white pants and colorful shirts. This outfit will be used on DIA's debut showcase 'Do It Amazing'.

DIA's debut album 'Do It Amazing' contains 11 songs, such as the title track 'I Gotta Feeling', 'Lean On Me', 'Say Hello' and more. After the track list, DIA also revealed the composers who's working with them such as Shinsadong Tiger, BIGTONE a producer from YG Entertainment and also the members Cathy and Seunghee participate in the lyrics writing for the songs on debut album.

DIA, "The first stage officially unveiled and we're so excited." And, "Now we're preparing a variety of stage and performance, please expect a lot."

Meanwhile, DIA debut showcase will be held on September 14th at Ilchi Art Hall in Seoul and first debut stage on September 17th at Mnet M! Countdown.

T-ARA's Hyomin says she likes MAMAMOO, Red Velvet and B1A4 in the latest interview with bnt international

T-ARA's Hyomin share her thoughts and stylish pictorial through bnt international.

This time, Hyomin showing the four types different concept for the pictorial with bnt international. 7 years experience in the entertainment industry make her just like a professional model during the photoshoot that aroused high level of expression and pose. The staff who were there at the set admire her a lot.

In an interview during the photoshoot, Hyomin talks about T-ARA's latest album, "So many songs that we want to show, but it was good to be able to show fans the bright performance on the stage. Seems like it's been long time singing on the stage while laughing heartily."

After that, she's being asked about who's the most stand out groups among the juniors, Hyomin said, "So many group with good skill and pretty member. I'm a fan of MAMAMOO and Red Velvet. I like them because of their dynamic appearance and full of energy."

Following, Hyomin also revealed her favorite boy group, "It's B1A4. I saw their comeback stage first before heard the full album. The song is so good, so I put it into my cell phone."

Rookie girl group DIA will reveals their daily life through 'DIA Daily' on Afreeca TV.

DIA will conduct their first live broadcast program 'DIA's BJ Attack' on Afreeca TV. They will show a live performance and make a surprise visit to BJ's house. In addition, the variety of DIA's member charms will be revealed through the broadcast.

BJ is Broadcasting Jockeys the independent broadcaster on Afreeca TV. 'DIA's BJ Attack' will begin to broadcast on August 24th at 10PM KST. They will play games and communicate with the audience by answering their questions live. In addition, the various events will also unfold such as music video teaser before its official release. 

DIA will hold a guerilla performance for 'DIA's BJ Attack' first broadcast. Meanwhile, they will open a channel called 'DIA Daily' starting from September 1st. Each members will showing their daily life and communicate live with the audience.

It is also reported earlier DIA will make their debut with double title track in the third week of September.

Korean idol stars Super Junior, 2PM, T-ARA and miss A to appear on Chinese new variety program.

On August 19th according to the plurality of broadcasters, miss A's Min and Jia, T-ARA's Hyomin, Jiyeon and Soyeon, 2PM's Chansung, Super Junior's Heechul including comedian Jo Seho to take a part as guests on Chinese new variety program '이치추파 (Ichi Chupa/Chupa's Sense)' airing on Hubei TV.

'Ichi Chupa/Chupa's Sense' is a 12 series variety program which co-produced by HubeiTV and CJ E&M. China's popular stars also appeared on the show that gained some interest from the viewers.

The concept is to find hidden treasures in the world. Recently they were also visited Korea for filming in the several areas. On August 12th the production team filmed the show in Jeju Island with miss A and T-ARA. On August 17th Super Junior's Heechul and comedian Jo Seho spotted in Incheon International Airport for filming the show.

The appearance of Korean idol stars on 'Ichi Chupa/Chupa's Sense' is scheduled to be broadcast later this year after completing the shooting.

5-member acapella group 'DIA' needs explanation from rookie girl group 'DIA' by using the same name.

Recently the members of acapella group DIA revealed their thoughts in an interview. They said, "On July 4th we found our team name on the internet search engine. When we found it was the rookie girl group DIA and not us it's so embarassing. It seemed so similar to us even in english spelling. Then we thought 'What is this?'. It's not really good to see another group has the same name with us. We're now in the blank. This situation is determined not properly."

What the impact to the team?

"Previously in 2011 there is also duo group with the same name 'DIA'. We don't know if they still active or not. But this time has a different impact from that. T-ARA's agency just like they're planning to buy us. It seems clear to us in a any way be affected."

They added, "Already it was difficult to search articles and information about our team on the portal sites. Even one month ago we search 'DIA' assosiation terms with 'Acapella' is still exist, but now there is none of them. People will more difficult to find our name later."

Have you ever been contacting DIA's company regarding the group name?

"In that case there is no contact at all. I wonder whether they even know my team? We're not the group that shouldn't be in search...Does the name would be written if they're saw our team? If the planners would go that much of thought...I wonder they could use our name because we're not famous? I am thinking that you do not care? I don't know."

What do you want to say to DIA's agency?

"I don't know. I feel good and leave the bad and just wonder what the reason for writing the name 'DIA'. I would like to ask it. Whether they didn't know we're exist or they know it... common sense seems to have been avoided... I can't understand it. I would not suspect... They even didn't know we're exist it seems to feel hurt if ignored."

What do you think about this situation?

"We never had a thought about the trademark or such a thing. I don't know about that, never even thought this thing would happen. In this regard I don't know what we can do. We're a 14-years unfamous acapella group. If you interested in acapella there is respect in our team. We're together  for 14 years so there is a passion for 'DIA' as the name."

They added, "Acapella genre was widely known as a minor. If we search 'DIA' on the internet and found the girl group activities and their ranking on music sites it would be difficult. Because girl group 'DIA' hasn't debut yet I'm still confused and don't know what the situation. Our team name and that girl group name make us worry about being 'parody'."

Rookie girl group DIA mostly talks about T-ARA in their latest interview

Rookie girl group DIA (Diamond) commonly known as T-ARA's sister group just finished their music video shooting in Hong Kong.

On July 28th immediately after music video shooting in Hongkong, DIA met the reporters and sharing some stories. The music video shooting for their debut song being filmed from July 27th in Hong Kong and Macau.

DIA's leader Seunghee said, "T-ARA (senior) talking to us for the first time. They said, because of us you will see a lot of problem. You need to overcome the wall and mountain in front of you."

Cathy, "T-ARA (senior) have recalled that incident and it was hurt. But however. They never did that. In addition, we continue to crossed the mountains. Yet it never did fall down. more brave and working harder, they said." She added, "'T-ARA's sister' it's not just the title but it also cheered and helped us to overcome the situation."

The overall interviews that day, the reporters more focused on T-ARA and their past 'incident'. Then later the person who made DIA Kim Kwang Soo asked about the audition of DIA's members, "I honestly curious. What do I think about these girls."

Cathy said, "Before joining this company I just thought it was not a good thing." Then, "When I first saw T-ARA, I was surprised when they were taking care their juniors carefully."

Seunghee said, "I honestly believed that 'incident' is real." Then, "I can frankly talk to T-ARA (senior) when I met them. There are also the distorted and partial match was a part of this or that thing. There are many parts we had a distorted and boldly held out.

The oldest member Seunghee also revealed about the criteria of DIA's members selection. She said, "Maybe because there were such a 'incident' the criteria of member selection focused on the 'toughness'. DIA is a group formed in a long time with painstakingly."

Kim Kwang Soo added, "It beyond the 'toughness'. So 3-4 people including the members took a long time until the last minute before members confirmation they were being replaced."

It is reported that DIA will shoot their second debut single '닿을 듯 말 듯' today in Macau. The second single has a opposite feeling from first single 'Somehow'. It contains addictive melody and sexy feel and choreography. DIA is scheduled to make their official debut in September with double title track 'Somehow' and '닿을 듯 말 듯'.

T-ARA will hold their comeback showcase and sets out the activities.

On July 24th, MBK Entertainment said, "T-ARA will hold their comeback showcase on August 3rd." Recently T-ARA announced their title track 'Totally Crazy' from hit composer Brave Sound.

'Totally Crazy' is a funky dance song with cool and exciting lines that makes a hot summer to a cool one.

T-ARA comeback showcase will be held on August 3rd at Journal Art Hall, Seoul. The time and details will be updated later on T-ARA's fancafe and MBK Entertainment official website.

The new photo of MBK Entertainment rookie girl group DIA was released.

On July 23rd MBK Entertainment has released the new photo of DIA's member through their official twitter. The members are wearing diamond print text and picture t-shirt. Also each members showing variety of expression.

DIA became a hot topic even before their official debut because of great visuals of the members. DIA is schedule to leave the country off to Hong Kong-Macau on July 27th at 10AM to shoot two music videos and the members pictorial.

DIA is set to make their official debut in August with double title track.

T-ARA will make a comeback with Brave Brothers and Shinsadong Tiger's songs

T-ARA will make a comeback with new album after a year.

On July 22nd, the agency MBK Entertainment said T-ARA will active promoting their comeback next month with a new song from Brave Brothers.

The title song 'Totally Crazy' is a funky dance track that brings out the brass sound and will make hot summer into the cool one.

MBK Entertainment also said this time is the fight between Brave Brothers and Shinsadong Tiger for T-ARA's new title track.

They added T-ARA also plans to release a new album in China, so they picked Shinsadong Tiger's song '1,2,3' as the title track.

T-ARA's Eunjung to make a special appearance on KBS drama 'Love on a Rooftop'

T-ARA's member, Eunjung to make a special appearance on KBS drama 'Love on a Rooftop'.

The first filming of the drama was finished on July 18th. Eunjung to play as Min Chae Won the free-spirited girl with a confidence, optimistic and cheerful character. It is expected to be created a high tension atmosphere between the couple Kang Do Jin and Yoon Seung Hye because Min Chae Won had a crush in Kang Do Jin back then in university.

Eunjung said, "I'm excited. It emerged as the important role and it was hard, I want to show you a good look of me at the drama."

T-ARA to join summer girl group comeback lineup!

T-ARA will be coming back with a fresh image after 1 year.

On July 17th, MBK Entertainment announced on their official twitter T-ARA will make a comeback in the first week of August. 

They had previously planned for comeback in October because of their China tour concerts, dramas and CF but they've decided to pull up the comeback date.

The agency said, "T-ARA will return in the first week of August with exciting and fun stage performance and cool music to make the hot summer refreshing."

T-ARA's sister group, DIA sets out a large-scale promotional debut.

On July 4th, MBK Entertainment said, "Rookie girl group is unusually debut with double title track. The music video shooting will take a place in Hong Kong and Macau, they will stay for 4 nights 5 days. Each music video will have a different feeling."

DIA will leave to Hong Kong for filming the music video on July 27th.

The members have taken the advertising, music videos, as well as pictorial for a large-scale debut promotion. As one of the promotion method, today the photos of DIA's members in the practice room has been revealed.

DIA will make their official debut in August.

MBK Entertainment revealed T-ARA's Eunjung & Jenny image for 'Sweet Temptation'

On June 20th, MBK Entertainment revealed still cut of T-ARA's Eunjung and the new girlgroup member, Lee Jenny for upcoming web drama 'Sweet Temptation" (tentative title).

Jenny is a confirmed member for MBK Entertainment rookie girlgroup who will debut as a singer and also as an actress through the web drama.

T-ARAs' web drama will have six episodes starring different member with a different story. So far there has been an official poster of 'Black Holiday' starring Qri and Jang Suwon who known for his robotic acting. Also 'Fantasy Girlfriend' starring Soyeon and Lee Jongmin.

The web drama is directed by Young Sang Mi & Lee Gi Baek who worked with BEAST, Jay Park and Trouble Maker for their music videos.

In addition, they will release several OST for the web drama.

MBK Entertainment unveiled the final 6 members for their rookie girl group

On June 16th, MBK Entertainment unveiled the final 6 members of their rookie girl group.

Jenny, Yebin, Chaeyeon, Eunjin, Cathy and Eunice determined as the confirmed members for the upcoming rookie girl group.

MBK Entertainment representative said, "In the meantine, after all the candidates revealed on public they attended the rough test. Dani, Seulgi & Minhyun are excluded from the final members selected and we're confirmed the final 6 members."

Before that, after MBK Entertainment announced the survival tv program for their rookie girl group selection then after a month they changed the strategy and decided will choose the final members through their own program and test.

The rookie girl group gained so much attention after a long selection and the members known for their great skills and appearances. Eunice known for her singing and dancing skill also fluent in Japanese. Chaeyeon made her debut with appearance on T-ARA's Eunjung solo MV 'I'm Good'. Jenny is a girl with excellent acting skill and innocent looks. Eunjin known for her great dancing skill. Yebin is a talented girl with charming voice and outstanding vocal skill. Last but not least, Cathy known for her charisma on the stage.

Out of the 6 confirmed members, the 7th member known to be undecided yet. The 7th member selection proceed near to the final. The agency said, "We still struggle to decide the final member of rookie girl group. Whether the 7-membered group or we will go with the 6-membered group."

The new group of MBK Entertainment is expected to officially make their debut in early August.

On June 29th, MBK Entertainment side revealed, "The group name was decided as 'DIA' stands for Diamond. The name means, the group will be the most noble and always receives glowing sparkles among gems like a diamond and love over the time."

Lee Jenny, the girl on the left known can sing as well as outstanding acting and innocent looks. Baek Yebin the girl in the middle, is a talented girl with a charming voice and outstanding singing ability. Last but not least, Eunice the girl on the right known for her singing and dancing skills also fluent in Japanese.

MBK Entertainment previously already unveiled the 3 candidates for their rookie girl group such as Kim Dani, Chaeyeon and Eunji. MBK representative said, "The rookie girl group selected was initially through TV survival program, but lately the company change the strategy and decide to choose the final member of rookie girl group by our own program."

The rookie girl group of MBK Entertainment is scheduled to officialy debut in early August.
