Rookie girl group DIA mostly talks about T-ARA in their latest interview

Rookie girl group DIA (Diamond) commonly known as T-ARA's sister group just finished their music video shooting in Hong Kong.

On July 28th immediately after music video shooting in Hongkong, DIA met the reporters and sharing some stories. The music video shooting for their debut song being filmed from July 27th in Hong Kong and Macau.

DIA's leader Seunghee said, "T-ARA (senior) talking to us for the first time. They said, because of us you will see a lot of problem. You need to overcome the wall and mountain in front of you."

Cathy, "T-ARA (senior) have recalled that incident and it was hurt. But however. They never did that. In addition, we continue to crossed the mountains. Yet it never did fall down. more brave and working harder, they said." She added, "'T-ARA's sister' it's not just the title but it also cheered and helped us to overcome the situation."

The overall interviews that day, the reporters more focused on T-ARA and their past 'incident'. Then later the person who made DIA Kim Kwang Soo asked about the audition of DIA's members, "I honestly curious. What do I think about these girls."

Cathy said, "Before joining this company I just thought it was not a good thing." Then, "When I first saw T-ARA, I was surprised when they were taking care their juniors carefully."

Seunghee said, "I honestly believed that 'incident' is real." Then, "I can frankly talk to T-ARA (senior) when I met them. There are also the distorted and partial match was a part of this or that thing. There are many parts we had a distorted and boldly held out.

The oldest member Seunghee also revealed about the criteria of DIA's members selection. She said, "Maybe because there were such a 'incident' the criteria of member selection focused on the 'toughness'. DIA is a group formed in a long time with painstakingly."

Kim Kwang Soo added, "It beyond the 'toughness'. So 3-4 people including the members took a long time until the last minute before members confirmation they were being replaced."

It is reported that DIA will shoot their second debut single '닿을 듯 말 듯' today in Macau. The second single has a opposite feeling from first single 'Somehow'. It contains addictive melody and sexy feel and choreography. DIA is scheduled to make their official debut in September with double title track 'Somehow' and '닿을 듯 말 듯'.

Rookie girl group DIA releases new photo of the members

The new photo of MBK Entertainment rookie girl group DIA was released.

On July 23rd MBK Entertainment has released the new photo of DIA's member through their official twitter. The members are wearing diamond print text and picture t-shirt. Also each members showing variety of expression.

DIA became a hot topic even before their official debut because of great visuals of the members. DIA is schedule to leave the country off to Hong Kong-Macau on July 27th at 10AM to shoot two music videos and the members pictorial.

DIA is set to make their official debut in August with double title track.

Rookie girl group DIA sets out a large-scale debut promotional

T-ARA's sister group, DIA sets out a large-scale promotional debut.

On July 4th, MBK Entertainment said, "Rookie girl group is unusually debut with double title track. The music video shooting will take a place in Hong Kong and Macau, they will stay for 4 nights 5 days. Each music video will have a different feeling."

DIA will leave to Hong Kong for filming the music video on July 27th.

The members have taken the advertising, music videos, as well as pictorial for a large-scale debut promotion. As one of the promotion method, today the photos of DIA's members in the practice room has been revealed.

DIA will make their official debut in August.

MBK Entertainment unveiled the final 6 members for their rookie girl group

On June 16th, MBK Entertainment unveiled the final 6 members of their rookie girl group.

Jenny, Yebin, Chaeyeon, Eunjin, Cathy and Eunice determined as the confirmed members for the upcoming rookie girl group.

MBK Entertainment representative said, "In the meantine, after all the candidates revealed on public they attended the rough test. Dani, Seulgi & Minhyun are excluded from the final members selected and we're confirmed the final 6 members."

Before that, after MBK Entertainment announced the survival tv program for their rookie girl group selection then after a month they changed the strategy and decided will choose the final members through their own program and test.

The rookie girl group gained so much attention after a long selection and the members known for their great skills and appearances. Eunice known for her singing and dancing skill also fluent in Japanese. Chaeyeon made her debut with appearance on T-ARA's Eunjung solo MV 'I'm Good'. Jenny is a girl with excellent acting skill and innocent looks. Eunjin known for her great dancing skill. Yebin is a talented girl with charming voice and outstanding vocal skill. Last but not least, Cathy known for her charisma on the stage.

Out of the 6 confirmed members, the 7th member known to be undecided yet. The 7th member selection proceed near to the final. The agency said, "We still struggle to decide the final member of rookie girl group. Whether the 7-membered group or we will go with the 6-membered group."

The new group of MBK Entertainment is expected to officially make their debut in early August.

On June 29th, MBK Entertainment side revealed, "The group name was decided as 'DIA' stands for Diamond. The name means, the group will be the most noble and always receives glowing sparkles among gems like a diamond and love over the time."
