MBK Entertainment revealed T-ARA's Eunjung & Jenny image for 'Sweet Temptation'

On June 20th, MBK Entertainment revealed still cut of T-ARA's Eunjung and the new girlgroup member, Lee Jenny for upcoming web drama 'Sweet Temptation" (tentative title).

Jenny is a confirmed member for MBK Entertainment rookie girlgroup who will debut as a singer and also as an actress through the web drama.

T-ARAs' web drama will have six episodes starring different member with a different story. So far there has been an official poster of 'Black Holiday' starring Qri and Jang Suwon who known for his robotic acting. Also 'Fantasy Girlfriend' starring Soyeon and Lee Jongmin.

The web drama is directed by Young Sang Mi & Lee Gi Baek who worked with BEAST, Jay Park and Trouble Maker for their music videos.

In addition, they will release several OST for the web drama.

MBK Entertainment unveiled the final 6 members for their rookie girl group

On June 16th, MBK Entertainment unveiled the final 6 members of their rookie girl group.

Jenny, Yebin, Chaeyeon, Eunjin, Cathy and Eunice determined as the confirmed members for the upcoming rookie girl group.

MBK Entertainment representative said, "In the meantine, after all the candidates revealed on public they attended the rough test. Dani, Seulgi & Minhyun are excluded from the final members selected and we're confirmed the final 6 members."

Before that, after MBK Entertainment announced the survival tv program for their rookie girl group selection then after a month they changed the strategy and decided will choose the final members through their own program and test.

The rookie girl group gained so much attention after a long selection and the members known for their great skills and appearances. Eunice known for her singing and dancing skill also fluent in Japanese. Chaeyeon made her debut with appearance on T-ARA's Eunjung solo MV 'I'm Good'. Jenny is a girl with excellent acting skill and innocent looks. Eunjin known for her great dancing skill. Yebin is a talented girl with charming voice and outstanding vocal skill. Last but not least, Cathy known for her charisma on the stage.

Out of the 6 confirmed members, the 7th member known to be undecided yet. The 7th member selection proceed near to the final. The agency said, "We still struggle to decide the final member of rookie girl group. Whether the 7-membered group or we will go with the 6-membered group."

The new group of MBK Entertainment is expected to officially make their debut in early August.

On June 29th, MBK Entertainment side revealed, "The group name was decided as 'DIA' stands for Diamond. The name means, the group will be the most noble and always receives glowing sparkles among gems like a diamond and love over the time."

Mnet is preparing a large-scale girl group debut project with 101 trainees!

On June 12th, Mnet to unfolds the 1 year debut project of rookie girl group.

According to the music industry official, Mnet is preparing in secret a large-scale girl group debut project with tentative title 'PRODUCE 101' in September.

Produce 101 is Korea's first multi-agency girl group project. The 101 trainees gathered from different company to compete each other and only 10 trainees which will be selected for the new group. However, trainee from a very large company such as YG and SM Entertainment have been excluded from the program.

The project is planned to take a place over appoximately 1 year. For the start, they will release debut single from the members and netizen will take a role as judges and pick one of their favorite tracks. In the other hand, while the members are chosen through Mnet activities, they can also be joined on another group that are formally planned by their agency.

In this state, Mnet side officials has been confirmed the innovative promotional for this girl group debut project.

On August 24th according to various parties, 'Produce 101' will begin to air right after 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' in the beginning of September.

Earlier they will pick 10 trainees which will be selected for the new group, but now it is reported that 11 trainees will be selected in the final selection.

The upcoming girl group from this project will go with the music genre, EDM. Crews from each companys are in the full swing preparing the trainees, such as profile shooting already began.

On June 4th, MBK Entertainment unveiled the candidates of their rookie girl group, Jenny, Yebin and Eunice.

Lee Jenny, the girl on the left known can sing as well as outstanding acting and innocent looks. Baek Yebin the girl in the middle, is a talented girl with a charming voice and outstanding singing ability. Last but not least, Eunice the girl on the right known for her singing and dancing skills also fluent in Japanese.

MBK Entertainment previously already unveiled the 3 candidates for their rookie girl group such as Kim Dani, Chaeyeon and Eunji. MBK representative said, "The rookie girl group selected was initially through TV survival program, but lately the company change the strategy and decide to choose the final member of rookie girl group by our own program."

The rookie girl group of MBK Entertainment is scheduled to officialy debut in early August.
